My name is Anne Boeckmann and I am the Chief of Students at the Texas Hip and Knee Foundation. I am a Texan, born and raised, who calls San Antonio my home. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Exercise Sports Science. I am now a third year medical student at Burnett School of Medicine at TCU pursuing my MD. My passion for orthopeadics has been lifelong, stemming from childhood and college athletics, and now continuing into my medical school career. I was drawn to THK because of its excellent faculty, opportunities to further my career and education, and the environment it fosters for curiosity and innovation in orthopedics.

My name is Mitchel Hawley, and I am the Chief of Clinical Education at the Texas Hip and Knee Foundation. I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah; however, my family and I have enjoyed calling Fort Worth our home for the past two years. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the College of Idaho and am currently a third-year medical student at the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU. I developed a passion for orthopedics at a young age, and the THK Foundation has provided me with impactful mentorship and numerous opportunities to further develop my knowledge and skills as a medical student. Along with my enthusiasm towards orthopedics comes a passion for teaching, which has brought me significant satisfaction in my role as the Chief of Clinical Education.

My name is Winston Scambler and I am the Chief of Research at the Texas Hip and Knee Foundation. I am from Oklahoma and now call Fort Worth my home. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Public Health.  I am now a third year medical student at Burnett School of Medicine at TCU pursuing my MD. My dream has always been to pursue a career in orthopeadics. I am passionate about improving patients' quality of life by restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and enabling them to return to their daily activities and hobbies. I joined THK due to the unique opportunity to be a servant leader. The most rewarding aspect of THK is helping others achieve their goals of research and career development through a collaborative mindset.

My name is Erica Olfson and I am the Assistant Chief of Research at the Texas Hip and Knee Foundation. At my core, I'm a born and raised Texan from the DFW area. I spent 6 years in Nashville, TN, obtaining my Bachelor's in Science in Biology degree at Belmont University and my Master's in Biomedical Sciences at Vanderbilt University. I returned to Texas last year, and I am now a second year medical student at the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU, pursuing my MD. My passion for orthopedics began in college when I suffered a stress fracture, and has continued since then to only grow throughout my medical school career. I am so grateful to have gotten involved in THK as there are so many amazing clinical research opportunities, the mentorship from the faculty is such a gift, and my passion for orthopedics has grown in so many ways.

My name is Lachlan Anderson and I'm the Assistant Chief of Education at the THK Foundation. I am originally from California and went to undergrad at Boston College before moving to Texas for medical school. I am currently a second year MD student at the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU. I have a long time passion for orthopedics that comes from several athletic orthopedic injuries and my experiences working in the field before attending medical school. I was drawn to THK for its incredibly unique and rewarding opportunities for orthopedic education, research, and mentorship.
